Youth for Christ in Poland have been making the most of available avenues for funding through official channels – for instance a government scheme for employees to give a portion of their tax to a nominated charity, and now a grant from the city council, sufficient to run the “Narnia” after-school club for the next 2 years – praise God! This club provides a secure second home and family for children whose own homes are often broken and negative places. How great that the authorities recognise the positive impact YFC has on the lives of needy children.
